To be honest, I'm not too crazy about the cover because I'm not a big fan of the new designs for the Shadowhunter Chronicles and this cover matches those perfectly, but I wanted it to match the old covers. I think it would have been a more beautiful cover.
Even though I'm not in love with the cover{at least not yet} this was still my reaction:
I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and when I saw the cover, I might have teared up a bit. Hashtag, no shame.
To me, this cover reveal just means that Lady Midnight is almost here!!! There are no words to describe how excited I am to step back into the fantastic Shadowhunter world! There's been so much talk and hate about Cassie writing another Shadowhunter series, but I cannot be more excited. Cassie is one of my all time favorite authors of life and I will always read anything she puts out because she's AMAZEBALLS. NO JOKE.
I fell in love with Emma and Julian in those few scenes we saw them in City of Heavenly Fire and now there's a story just about them...I could die, but that means I wouldn't get to experience all the feels that these characters will give me.
What are your thought on the cover? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Are you excited for more Shadowhunters?
I LOVE IT!! I love the colours!! although I agree that I'm not the wildest fan of the new covers. But I think that's mostly because I have almost ALL the books in the old covers and I'm not changing my collection. -_- So I'll just have to collect these books with the new covers and still my bookworm panics. xDXD
